Bullet GECO STAR

GECO STAR is the name of the newest development by GECO. The lead-free deformation bullet promises maximum penetration and a high residual weight. Thanks to the hollow point, the new STAR bullet reliably deforms at nearly any hunting distance. Its excellent inherent precision is mainly due to the performance grooves. This makes the GECO STAR the perfect bullet for hunters who use lead-free bullets and want to minimise damage to the game. The projectile is particularly suited to hunting small to medium-sized game.

GECO centerfire rifle cartridges in caliber 9.3x74 R

The 9.3 x 74 R is the “queen of the rimmed cartridges”. It is suitable for break-open guns, no matter whether break-open rifle, over-and-under shotgun/rifle combination, drilling or double rifle. In combination guns hunters like to use it with a smaller cartridge suitable for roe deer (e. g. in a barrel insert).

This calibre is the companion version of the 9.3 x 62, and they both were introduced at about the same time in 1905.

The GECO Softpoint load with a 255 gr bullet weight is popular for drive hunting. Beyond that, the GECO Plus bullet with 255 gr is being produced and for all hunters shooting lead-free ammunition we offer GECO ZERO with a weight of 184 gr.
